Don't have an air brush. This is my very first attempt to use color. Used rust-oleum rattle can.<br />Think maybe an air brush would be a good investment

Looks fine..

I tried the painting (4-colors) on an intricate piece it was looking great until the clear coat wrinkled :( I went back and did layers for each color, drilled & tapped the base metal (16 ga) and bolted the pieces together with button head SS machine screws.

Lessons learned.

I didn't clear coat for fear of that happening.

I had tape lines I had to sand down, it was an all day paint project then poof it's wrinkle time!
