New base drum

Postby Old Ironworker » Thu Jul 27, 2017 1:54 pm

Going out today. To be mounted high on gable eave end of the house. Added solar rope led lights to this 2 layer piece (no power near ). It looked ok with light behind the back plate and second layer ( to the outside ), but not the second layer to inside to the letter. I bet that a 'up-grade' to a better light system will happen down the road.
So, if anyone has had some good luck with solar let me know.
Thanks, Dale.........

Hello Old Ironworker

Morning,
No, my free hand would be bad. I have a Plasmacam Z-2 system and the letter came from their font list. Did rework it a bit it to fit the piece. I'm waiting on the customer to send some pictures of it installed on the his home. Ran into him at the paint store, said he was changing the colors on it because the house color was too dark. So, the steel dye and steel colors are will be gone. Ha!!!! The customer is always Right. Ok, back to loading up for Blueberry Festival ( So. Haven, MI ).
Have a Good Week Burning !!
Dale.........
