My wife and I wanted to do something cool for my father- in-law for his 60th birthday, and this is what we came up with.
The sign is made out of 14 gauge, and it's framed and bolted in with 1 x 1 x 1/8 angle iron. The sign measures 3' wide x 2' tall, and we used cedar posts for mounting. There is a 'century farm' sign that will hang from the bottom once we get some hooks. We also got some solar-powered spot lights that will shine on the sign and up through the tree at night.
