Bass

Post by lklassen331 »

Just got my first package with SteelFX dyes and have been trying them out. I'm sold on them! Here are a couple bass, our first test on dyeing metal. Hopefully as time goes on I can figure out how to improve the color blending.

Thanks, SteelFX!

Looks like you have a pretty good handle on the dyes already!

Looks to me like you've got this covered. Enjoy my friend. I will give one secret, if you clear coat apply your first coat lightly and allow to flash over , then apply a heavy coat. If you apply a heavy coat on the first coat the dye tends to run and bleed at times. After learning to apply first coat light and then second coat heavy I haven't had any problems.
