Giant dino

Post by BensPlasmaAu »

This file is from Makecnc. I am about to head out to some markets with things to sell and i decided that the stall needed an attention grabber. So a Spinosaurus that is 2.0 meters long and 1.5 meters tall would be just the ticket. I need to give him some extra support in terms of some bent rob welded to legs, back and neck. I may also have to make some rod supports like dinosaur skeletons are supported in museums. He's pretty heavy and i made him from 1.6mm mild steel. Probably should have made the body out of 4mm for extra strength. He will be for sale though and if it sells then the next one will have some extra modifications with 2 extra pieces of "backbone" running along the neck, back and tail to keep it better supported. Work in progress though, i'll post some more pictures when he is all done.

Any idea on the weight? It's really cool just not sure how to move it.

Not the exact weight. I can lift it on my own, but its bloody awkward. Ill put it i the back of the ute first then pack product around it to transport it to the markets. Hopefully we have some luck and bring in some much needed money.
