I broke down and bought them too. The DXF's cut with no issues at all for me. I am finishing the first parts i cut with a heated and hammered finish then applying a black oil rub. They will eventually get mounted on a finished piece of wood. I made them about 16" with screw holes in them. Will post pics when I get to finishing the pieces.

Thanks guys I compared them and save pennies but here is what I have, same thing with Solid Edge, Auto Cad, at least and they all show the same.
Looks like the regular Inckscape SVG/dxf thing. And I am pretty sure it is.

bhamer; I believe it was your picture elsewhere the convinced me I needed them! Good luck on that picture I know how difficult it is.

Ok I stand corrected  the the SVG files look and work ok the DXF files are funky as Steel shows. If I open the with Irfanview they look clean but will not import into Inkscape and in TurboCad they will open but are funky.

I use them in AutoCad. You need to explode them twice, I think, then select and delete the hatching(fill). They are scaled up to like 5' so I scale them down, put them on layers that I use and then use Polyline edit to join everything. Been working ok like that.

Off hand I can't tell you. I found the "Baby Rockstar Sparkle" on the Prismacolor website and it lists the black to be used as the base. We've used the sparkle on several different colors but it just doesn't show up as good as it does on black.

I'd like to give you all a huge THANK YOU!! This forum is amazing and full of so much information that everyone is willing to share. Thank you to Allen "abmetal" for this idea. As I stated in an earlier post, I too bought the Regal Font file there and have made just a few name monograms. I would like to share this one that I made using the "H" monogram and making it for some customers. We cut it out of 18 gauge, they are going to put it on the garden gate. Just used rattle can black shimmer from Hobby Lobby.

Hopefully I get the attachments right the first time, if not...try try again. : )

To clarify my statement above, I bought the Split Monogram files "regal font" off of Etsy and the files have worked very well for me.
