Those are nice Tom. How are you attaching the layers? I would think two sided tape would take forever to do with all of those small parts.

I used Loctite super glue professional Liquid I bought at a craft store. It is a little thicker and has a good applicator for small dots of glue. But I am not sure how well it will work if the plaque is flexed I don't like how brittle super glue is under some conditions.
There is a better glue called Goop it is like RTV but does not smell as bad what I don't like is it is stringy. I tends to have small strings attached when you put a dot down and move away. But is is very flexible and grips very good holding parts together. I used it on plaques that have bigger parts. I have used the double sided tape to and it can be time consuming but works great. I fully paint both sides before assembly.

I looked up Silkaflex and they offer 37 different products under the name Silkaflex. Which one are you using mexrunner?

After a little research I found this. SikaBond Universal. It's rated to bond non porous materials like metal and glass.

Sika is a very established brand name which has been around for years and has many products for many applications including the adhesives to bond many of the late model vehicles together. Most OEM builders use it extensively for fixing anything from the trim to windscreens to fitting the roof skins to the structure but they use a specific one for each application.

The ones that I use most are 221 and 11FC which are two different grades of flexible adhesive sealants. These are both urethane's which are moisture cure and high strength which remain flexible and can be painted. When adhering powder coated items their data sheets will tell you to use a Sika primer as well. On some off the record advice from one of their tech guys who used to call on us, we used GP thinners to give it a quick wipe, this would remove the greasy surface coating that you get with powder coating (the thin film that shows your finger prints etc.) to provide the key for the adhesive to bite.
