Re: Georgia Bulldogs
Very nice. If you're a G fan. LOL All kidding aside It does look very good. How did you mount them together? It looks like some sort of pop rivet. I have been using 2 sided tape but interested in other ways.

Re: Georgia Bulldogs
Locate and burn .200" diameter hole in the rear pieces. Drill them out to .218" diameter....my plasma isn't real accurate on holes that small. Locate the rear pieces and use a Sharpie pen with the metal tip to mark the holes from them to locate the nuts on the front piece. Tig tack ( 2 tacks on the points) weld stainless steel 10-32 nuts to the front piece very carefully. Run a 4-flute bottom tap thru them after welding....they will shrink a bit even with tiny tacks. Might be able to glue the nuts on...haven't tried it because I powder coat. Use short 10-32 stainless steel button head screws with washers. Works great and leaves a little gap between the pieces to give them dimension and the heads of the button head screws makes it stand out from the wall a bit.little blue choo wrote:Very nice. I just use these, basically mark and such same way but it is a weld nut they even make them with nibs to resistance weld...
I typically just hot tack them with the MIG welder... but TIG would work better.
