Out at the workshop, the guys are building 2 trucks for this years Tough Truck competition. Basically its a whole bunch of awesome 4wd trucks modified from a production vehicle. It has the chassis of a Suzuki Vitara (the little 4wd up from a Samurai in the states), and that's about where any similarities end. This one has a completely removeable shell. So you can use it as a rock crawler buggy or if your feeling a bit weak, you can be protected from the mud and rain by lifting the shell back on, a bit like an RC car. I did the brackets for the mounts they were making up.
And on the other side of the plasma things - I designed up and built a bucket load of book ends to start to gauge cost of production and sale price. I think they're pretty good.
