Thanks!
Grapes are made from ball bearings (seconds). Animals have magnets on them so the owner can move them around wherever they want on the side plates.

You'll have to post pics of the piece installed. I think I know what this does, but it's hard to visualize. either way, the art/fab is very good.

great work! what is the finish on the ironwork?
There is plenty of room at the top - and the top is where you want to be. Whenever you do a project - do the hardest part first and the rest will be easy.

So the bolts are all just for show pretty much other than holding the piece up. They aren't actually structural.

Very nice touch and idea. Thanks for sharing!

The main body is black wrinkle powder coat. The grapes, leaves and animals are Sculpt Noveau brown patina.

Correct Capstone - just decorative. The main beams in the house are steel I-beams that were boxed in with wood. So 8 of the fake bolt heads have counter-sunk holes in them and then just black sheet rock screws to attach it to the wood.

Where did you source the rivets for this? I have a project perfect for that style. Thanks!

They have a huge selection of rivets - brass, copper, steel and any size you can imagine.
