I screwed up big time!!!!!

Post by PlasmaDesigns »

Such a nice piece to walk over and see where I fried the antlers. Lots of tweaking to do on this one. I'll be happy to share if I can get it perfected.

I know what you mean you go over and over it and after everything you get a burn-out.That sucks. That will be a nice piece, can't wait to see the final one.GREAT WORK.

I hate those nasty surprises. Looks easy enough to fix the drawing. Great work!

Looks great. I have realized that no one will ever notice the "screw ups" you see in your work. I have buddies drop by the shop and they think some of the stuff in my scrap pile looks great. People that don't do this kind of work will never see it. it is frustrating to have a burn out or other minor problem on a good looking piece like this. Good work!

I looked at it 3 times until I saw the back left deer was missing his right-middle antler...

Then I remembered that it's totally normal for this to actually happen for real in nature between the rutting and play and even genetics.

If I were you I'd sell it at full price, assuming it isn't too fragile.

My thoughts exactly, I've done this many times and after grinding down the weld you'd never know. This piece looks fantastic, even with the imperfection! Call it 'art' and charge more for it.

Heck I'll take the file as it is and help make the final adjustment. That is awesome, can hardly wait for the file.

Amazing work!
I had to look twice to see the burn-out as well. I agree with the others, could easily be sold as is!
