Been designing a Pyramid that will ship in a pizza box. I'll post pics when it's done.

Looks sharp from what I can see.
Is this art or some sort of fire box/heater?

Re: Pyramid pizza
Thanks, it's Art. It is a touch sensitive Pyramid lamp. Assembly will take (148) 8-32 stainless steel screws and nuts.CNCCAJUN wrote:Looks sharp from what I can see.

Re: Pyramid pizza
My Dad found it along time ago at a scrap yard. I rebuilt it and powder coated it. Makes a great work table will pick up my shear and my brake. The .500" plate is a grill table from a restaurant. Northern Hydraulics, Grangers and I think the Chinese place carries them.oregonsigns wrote:COULD YOU GIVE INFO ON THE FORKLIFT THINGY? I AM LOOKING FOR A COMPACT AND CHEAP WAY TO LOAD HEAVY SHEETS.

Re: Pyramid pizza
Thanks. The pyramid was fairly easy to design and went together real nice. Thanks to the ancient Egyptians for designing them a while back!

Re: Pyramid pizza
What did you use for the "angle" pieces that connect everything?
Cut & bent or 1/8" angle iron?
Is everything aluminum or stainless?
I assume you used small pieces of mica glued on the inside?
My interest in the details is because someday when I get good enough I would like to make some mini cube lamps with different themes.

Re: Pyramid pizza
The sides and angles are cut from 18 gage stainless steel and the legs are 14 gage stainless steel. I made templates to mark the mica so it covered the cut outs. I'm going to try some LED lighting and also some electroluminescent lighting.CNCCAJUN wrote:What did you use for the "angle" pieces that connect everything?

Re: Pyramid pizza
I really love the dieselpunk style. You pyramid looks awesome. Here's something you could consider.... Take three of these lamps mounted on a fancy rail to go over a pool table.
