Here's a little something a drafted up over a weekend and put together for the new Samson table. I might build another one for the little CNC mill.

Re: Computer Stand
way nice, they look very professionally done.
I'll bet you could find a market them.
If you do I hope you make a lot of them.

Re: Computer Stand
I don't have a press brake just yet, but because the parts are narrow, I just made myself a little hand bender for the bends on the lower uprights.acourtjester wrote:nice work love the colors, did you use a press break to form it?
For the vertical bends, they're just plates welded together with a bit of buffing with the flap disk.

Very nice job on that. I could see me trying to rest my big dumb foot on that flash drive though.

Looks like a robot- I like it!
Do a search on ebay or amazon for panel mount usb extension cable and you can put the flash stick up further out of harms way.

Re: Computer Stand
That's a good idea. My intention was to upgrade to a sealed PC (no fan). Until then, I'll definitely do a little run at Best Buy and grab a cable. I might even mount a little bracket and get a flush-mounted usb port.SegoMan DeSigns wrote:Looks like a robot- I like it!

^^ Unless your best buy is better than mine it is a wasted trip, about the time I get there I say i should have bought it online and saved a trip lol. Another option is some keyboards have a usb slot in them.

Re: Computer Stand
My monitor has a built in hub. Otherwise, 4 port USB hubs are cheap online. Sticky tape one up top where it's easy to get to and run an extension cable down to the back of your computer where it's protected.
