Cut Profile

Postby metalfixer » Thu Apr 19, 2018 2:59 pm

Is there a way to add the cut profile back to the screen, we had to reload everything on the computer.
The 'Cut Profile' was there, now all it indicates is 'stored information', and clicking does nothing.
Running Mach3 and the MP-3000 THC.
Thanks,
Larry

Cut profile first reads the stored settings in the DTHC and shows them as the Current Profile. If it can't talk to the DTHC via the serial port (on the MP3000) then it you can't make changes or save anything. You MUST have DTHC ONLINE indicator ON to use the Cut Profiles.

Thanks Tom,
The one I was asking about was like a chart that showed metal type, metal thickness, type of tip, fine cut etc.
Is this what you were referring too?
Thanks,
Larry

Cut Profile is a display of the SheetCAM tooltable that can be used as a LOCAL settings load for the DTHC parameters. Its OVERRIDDEN by the valuse in the G-code from SheetCAm using the Proper POST. Some values that are GLOBAL Common to all Profiles ) are set there .

If you haven't already figured this out you can choose a different screen and it should have the cut profile dro on it, then save.

on the MACH setups the Cut Profile button is in the Tab Flyout ...not the main screen.
