LDR Motion Systems industrial Level CNC machine

Post by dhelfter »

We have been working on a heavy duty industrial level cnc plasma table. Here are some quick pics of what we made. This is going to be a new product line for us, a bit of a step up from our standard duty tables. This machine is a 5x10 with scribe and rotary attachment. Some of the features are:
Ac servos on all axis (4 and one slave so 5 total)
Digital torch height control
air bladder water table
slats mounted to modular sections
Super rigid gantry
pneumatic clamping system for rotary
rotary handles 1" to 12" diameter up to 10' long

Gantry is way overkill for plasma but we are intending to add a drilling and tapping head attachment. In the next few months we will also be offering full bevel cutting. Now the best part, all of this plus a hypertherm 65 with machine torch, computer, software and free training for 27,000$

Looks good. After what I have put my "regular" LDR table through in the last year, this model must be practically bomb proof.

I can't wait to get my hands on one of those! As good as my small LDR table is, plus the added capabilities, it should be great.
