What is the name of this part?

Post by GoingCustom »

Anyone happen to know what this part is called and/or where I can order one? It attaches to the shaft of the z-axis servo. Thank you :D

You will need to know both in and out shaft sizes. They may or may not be the same.

Consider replacing it with an Oldham style coupling to avoid future breakages from wind up

local supplier for similar to above would be WWW Graingers (love joy coupling) but I don't think they are metric.

Thank you. Realized that once I figured out what it was.

Sent him an email, but haven't heard back yet. Just need to get back up and running ASAP.

For future reference, remember to measure the height of your old coupling before you buy a new one. The Lovejoy ones (L050) are alot taller, but I was able to make it work despite. May not be as easy to accommodate on another table.
