Powermax 45 (Or other) Torch mounts.

Post by Ribbedgiraffe »

Hello Everyone, I'm on one of my continuous improvement kicks and I would like to change my Torch mount (Powermax 45 Machine torch). I'm not a big fan of the setup I'm using now and know I can do something better. I ordered new Linear rails to get rid of the current floating head design I'm using, Might as well address the mount while I'm in there. I've also got some pretty stout magnets I may use in a breakaway.
If its not too much to ask can you show me what you have done to secure your torch? I'm looking for homebuilt stuff, preferably not a production piece.
Still learning!

4x8 homebuilt w/Water table - Hypertherm Powermax 45 (Machine torch)
13" Metal Lathe
7x12 Meta lathe
1-1/2hp Milling machine
Hobart 190 Wire feed
Hobart EZ-Tig

Elcheapo powdercoating gun W/Autoclave oven converted for powdercoating.
