New question,
How much of a computer do I need to run this cutter. I am looking at some mini computers with 2gb memory. Any suggestions?

Something you should check into is weather Mach3 will run with win 8. This also uses a HDMI output for the monitor.
What other electronics are you going to hook up with it does it have the type of ports needed. If you are going to use Linux will that work on it?
I use refurb PCs ( about $100 and has win 7 OP plus monitor) and remount the components into another case with the other electronics. Having WIFI is not needed on a table most use a USB stick.

Start out simple and don't install any bells and whistles to get going. Troubleshooting a cluttered system will make your life miserable.

I know I will have my hands full just getting everything to work. The help I am getting from this forum is making it all possible.

Made some good progress the last couple of days getting the electrical bits installed and wired up. Got some great help from Tom.
I think I finally have it right. Thanks Tom
