annoying pierce issue

I have a cutmaster 101 and it has inconsistant piercing issues. It may pierce properly from 1 to 20 times in a row and then not pierce right for the same amount and then good again. The air is clean and dry. It seems as if when it doesn't pierce quite right it is not getting full power. Even after a...

Re: DRAGON

My take on the dragon that someone posted on here a while ago. Haven't decided if I'm adding the wings yet or not. Approx 9 feet long and 3 feet high and around 700 lbs.

Canada goose sculpture

This is a first try at flying geese. It is hard to tell in the pics but the goose body is made up of 2 sides and a top and bottom tacked together to give the some depth.

That is a nice bass. Not to rain on your parade tho but I think that Amajuba Eng posted this exact same one back in 2011. I know i've cut a few out a couple years ago.

Re: Double (and sometimes triple) cuts

I am no corel expert and I am using x5 but if you are using the fill tool to create a colored part or to see if it is a closed loop it will make exact duplicates over your original drawing and these need to be removed before exporting.

Re: Small shapes not completely cut. Plasma or software

I have an older tracker with newer electronics installed. Are you drawing your lead ins with the command and cut program. You should be able to see them on the plot screen. What is your pierce delay. On my machine if the airflow is not running on my torch the pierce delay needs to be a little longer...

changing line colours

I was just wondering if there is an easy ( or any ) way of changing the colours of the lines when drawings parts that overlap to help distinguish the individual pieces. I know how to fill the parts but thats not what I'm after.

Re: student version

I was wrong in my original post as it was x5 I had purchased from plasma store. I ended up doing what Gamelord mentioned above and got a good deal ($50 ) on x5. Gamelord is correct as well in the fact that corel has advertised upgrading to the newest version for as low as $174 CAD. I just haven't ta...

Just a quick trace. Still needs cleanup. Hopefully it works as I usually stick with cdr x5 It the small speck in centre. I don't know why it exported so small.

Dodge Coronet 1966

I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction. I am having problems opening this particular file (66 dodge cornet) in my cdr x5 program. There seems to be a line running off the bottom of this drawing to I don't know where and I can't seem to edit it without my program crashing. Any ...

Re: plunge crashing

The guys at tracker are pretty good at helping out. Its the long weekend tho so might be tougher. I had the same problem a long time ago so I can't exactly remember but I think it had to do with my height control. Try cutting with it off and see what happens. Also check your z slide that its moving ...

This is my first posting in this section so hopefully it works for everyone. I've had a few people asking for this so I might as well post for everyone. The four larger points get bent approx 82-85 degrees and the smaller points get bent approx 75-77 degrees. I didn't include any of the round circle...

I make these holders out of stainless (food safe) and sell them for $40 bucks a pair. I also make drink holders (steel) for $30 dollars a pair. These products I consider my loss leaders and I make practically nothing on them. I do not make that many of them maybe a couple dozen pair a year. They do ...
