Perhaps if the same member continues to blow up the list one of the ADMINs should send a PM to that person and link them back to one of these discussions!

Re: Fathers Day - Dad's Garage Sign

Any idea why it shows up as two images of the sign with different cut lines? I can only use this dxf file by putting it directly into sheetcam and that wont let me edit anything on the drawing. The two drawings are for people that have different needs, some want to make a small piece with detail an...

This one looks just like the one Jason posted back in 2013 - - viewtopic.php?f=6&t=9038&hilit=shelf#p48258
I made one of the shelves myself from his DXF, changed it a little and posted a pic! :D

Re: Self-centering vise

Over the years I have used several different chucks that were the 4 jaw self-centering type. One even had a 4 direction adjustment so you could correct any out of trueness in the chuck. Most of them only scrolled in the 4 jaws just like a three jaw does. :D 4 jaw selfcentering chuck.jpg Larry

Re: Trying to put an image on the forum

Why not just load your BMP into PAINT and save as a JPG, much easier then zipping everything and then anybody that wants to see what you posted needs to download and unzip the file just to see it. :D

Re: New member blowing up list

I do recall some members that complained "47 downloads and only one thank you" Now we have the opposite thing, one member that is "to thankful"! I too have my notifications set to new posts and sometimes there many from one person, then there is that ONE file from the past that m...

Re: Consecutive Numbers Help

Are you going to cut the strip out of a sheet if so you can cut and paste your parts with a box around the numbers on the first part, then use another layer to paste new numbers with the center of the box as a reference point. As you can see, the numbers are a different length because of the width o...

Re: Supporting Rectangular tube in rotary plasma?

We made several different size square tubing holders just using a 4-jaw chuck from an old lathe.

Very nice! I think if you leave it bare they should leave it alone, but if it's painted to look like a hummer they may attack it.

Re: Motorcycle childrens bench

I'm betting that a lot of people didn't check the file when they downloaded it. It has nothing to do with how you downloaded the file, it's just that there is only a little data in the file ( (223 Bytes) Downloaded 18 times ) The poster needs to upload the whole file and check the bite count before ...

Re: Downloading files????

Ok, so I just became a "contributing member" and was hoping to download some of the .dxf files to play with on my machine. Problem is that I can't seem to download them. I've downloaded some that were in a zip file, but when trying to import them into Inkscape, the didn't open either. As ...

Not a (A)C-130! This looks more like a C-141. C-130 variants don't have engines slung under wings, but rather ceterline. Also, rear stabilizer not high mounted on tail Can't post pictures, so posting links to pictures of each: C-141: https://fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/c-141b-990868a.jpg (A)C-130: h...

I had no problem converting from PDF to DXF with "Aide PDF to DXF Converter" :D It comes from here - - http://www.aidecad.com/ I find that it works on about 95% of the PDFs that I get, but on some of them with pictures and text pages included it tries to make everything into DXF files so y...

Wow, thanks Larry83301 This looks like it'll work. I really appreciate it. Glad I could be of some help. If and when you need help just give a holler and I'm sure someone will answer. I've been working with CNCs and graphics programs since the mid '80s and I still get stuck sometimes. :D Larry
