My TD151 took a dump on me.

So about a month ago I fired up my Thermal Dynamics 151 and I saw big flashes of light, and pops coming from the side of it. And obviously... It won't work now. The fan still comes on, along with the LED's, but it won't start cutting when I pull the trigger. I pulled the cover off and the circuit bo...

Cool design, thanks for sharing!

Will you be patenting the idea of putting artistic designs in a pentagon fire pit shape?

Sorry... Couldn't help myself.

Re: Bonding two painted plates together, tips?

Ive used double sided tape with great luck. I use the Duck brand tape. It comes in like 3/4" and 1" thick rolls I think. I also use it to stick signs to walls and when I have had to remove it, some of the Sheetrock comes off with the tape! It's super cheap to try out at like under 2.00 a r...

My new fire pit ring

I don't do much metalworking anymore, but I've been wanting a nice fire ring for a while now, and have been trying to come up with one, with all the features that I want, and after years and years of tireless research... I finally decided on a design. Luckily... I have a CNC plasma cutting table and...

Speaking of the browning Buckmark logo.... I encourage you all to enter their contest with cool stuff. I won one of their contests once with a deck railing with their Buckmark logo about 6 years ago!

I got a free 2500.00 Citori shotgun out of the deal!

Thanks for the different style. I like some of the things you did differently then I did. That's what I love about the internet, seeing other peoples ideas, what you like about them, and incorporating those ideas into your own projects. Thanks for the share, this is awesome. Both the original and i...

Re: Fire extinguisher mount

Sorry to bring up a zombie thread, but I had someone recently ask if I was still selling these still. Well since my injury, I don't do much metalwork anymore so I thought I'd just share the files for my fire extinguisher mounts in this same thread to keep them all together. I make the main part of t...

That's pretty cool! Thanks for sharing. I might make one solid just for funsies.

I must have missed the thread with the fire pit thing... I assume there was lots of drama... Is the thread gone? I like to see that stuff it makes me laugh.

Re: Vinyl cutters

Maybe I'll look into those Roland type cutting blades... I saw a couple threads on here now about them. Time to do some research... Ugh... I don't quite get those blades though... I understand that they kind of float under their own, or added weight, but do they just spin freely allowing it to be dr...

Vinyl cutters

Does anyone here have a vinyl cutter for cutting out graphics to apply to steel signs or stuff? I'm thinking about getting one but want to make sure it will be able to use .cdr files.

Any input?

Re: Concerns with cutting AR500 targets with plasma

I hear a lot about how dangerous steel targets that are cut with CNC plasma are, versus laser cut targets. So I got one of each and did a test on them.

Here's a video in case you were wondering too.

Re: Plate marker art

where is a good place to get a platemaker? is this on steel or aluminum? I don't know what is available commercially, this one is home made..... It's a carbide tip in an engraving pen, marking on 14g cold rolled steel. The details that can be scribed are pretty impressive, and I'm still dialing it ...
