Help with DXF conversion

Could someone please convert this to a DXF.
I have tried all morning with not much luck.

Also, any ideas on software that you may use to convert.
I need to get set up to convert this stuff myself.

Any help would be great.
Thank you!

Re: Question for Jim Colt

Yes, no bottom dross at all. Cut three 4x4 sheets of parts today on 1/4 inch plate and the only thing on the bottom if any was a little on some sharp corners. I'm talking like two droplets in the same spot on all the parts that were that same shape. I Imagine if I messed with my corner speed it woul...

Re: Question for Jim Colt

Mr . Colt, Thanks for your response. Took a little research and adjusting, found best arc voltage shift settings for all three consumables. The hypertherm manual recommend settings for speed and torch height was right on. The HP 1000 is cutting 1/4 plate beautifully with zero clean up and perfect he...

Question for Jim Colt

Mr. Colt, I have a few questions for you if you have a few minutes. I upgraded my torch from a hypertherm 380 to a powermax 1000 with hand torch on a plasmacam dhc. While using the 380 I never had to adjust arc voltage shift because as you know it didn't have different amp consumables. I would just ...

Live next to a restaurant does he??? Everybody used to love this restaurant where I was living a few years ago, including me! They got busted with over 50 cats in their walk in freezer. The restaurant owner claimed it was for their personal use. I guess we had all been eating cat thinking it ...

Isn't it funny how a lot of us worry about torch height control, software, or.... is our equipment good enough? Or having the latest and best tools that we *think* are what we need to create cool projects..... While we do this, DXF is out there building some of the coolest and amazing projects off o...

Re: Say what?

tnbndr, There was no flex in the sign. It was a large wild hog with the customers name cut into it. I don't do a lot of heavy plate for art and I was wondering how much flex or bowing it was going to do. But none at all. Today I just did a 8ft X 6ft sign out of 3/16 plate and no flex either. I wante...

Say what? - Sign with Half Inch Plate

I have a new one at least for me........ I had a customer want a sign for is fence post's. 5ft x 3ft with is name. No big deal until he told me he wanted it cut from 1/2 inch plate! I charge around 5.00 to 10.00 a knife blank bottom line! That is if they bring their own steel. Extra if I have to supply it. nbman, I have seen this advertised too. Looks a little light duty but if you welded up a nice steel table to mount it on, it looks like fun....... I bet you could burn some steel with it. Price is not bad. As long as it is built with easy to find parts and electonics, might be a good choice for a pe...

I hope you guys can use the file.

You may need to play with it and change it for your own project or need but at least it gives someone a starting point.

I have a bunch of light fixture designs I have made over the years and I am sure I will even change this one over and over again too.

Box lights

Here is a simple but effective way to make some indoor or outdoor wall lights. Here is how they go together. The four pieces with the suns are tack welded into a square shape. The one that says *Top* is the top of the light. Simply bend the four inner tabs in toward the bottom.....this is where you ...
