Re: WE DON'T DIAL 911

Plasma Joe what is the name of that font. We have the 10,000 font bundle but cannot seem to find it, in there, if it even is in that package.

Thanks, Ken

Re: 1/2" A36 Plate

Cutmaster 52 and according to the TD manual I have it recommends 60amps at 21 ipm for my mechanized torch with exposed tip. Funny thing is it recommends 60amps for material thickness's .060 to 1.0 just with varied ipm's. ???? Sorry but this does not work for me. Correct me if I am wrong, but why wou...

1/2" A36 Plate

Quick question, I have not done alot of heavy cutting and need some pointers on amperage, speed and air pressure settings to use on cutting 1/2" thick parts.

Thanks

The closest one that I know of to your location would be Alamo Iron Works in San Antonio.

Re: Water Table Rust Prevention

Thanks for your reply. I just didn't know if it might be worth the extra time and money. I looked at your table build a long while back on the "Zone", and thought it was very well thought out. I have decided to not build the water reservoir on my table, but I really like the idea. I think...

Water Table Rust Prevention

We are building a water pan to capture the plasma dust on our table. We had considered lining the pan with a urethane that is 15 mils thick to aid in preventing rust. We are also planning on using the PlasmaQuench recipe posted earlier. My question is to those of you who use the PlasmaQuech, do you ...

Re: STEEL TREAD PLATE

I do not know if this may help you, but I always cut tread plate the old school way. Turn the tread facing down and try cutting it from the smooth side up. I just mirror my dxf's before g-code. Hope that makes sense.

OH, yeah, by the way I use "glichmate", Oh, I mean Torchmate, Oh, I mean SignLab7.1. It works if you have a lot of patience and know how to come at things from the back door!

Re: Metal tumbler

Jim, fyrpower is right. I have been using my Harbor Freight cement mixer as a metal tumbler/deburring pot for over a year and a half now and it does a good job. I have a mixture of small broken floor tile pieces(about 90%) along with the small metal scrap media(about 10%). I removed the mixing paddl...
