and i forgot i spent a lot of time figuring out a hinge for the door.

i'm wrong....or said it wrong...that was cutting it and tacking it. i spent the next day welding up the outside edges and grinding/blending down the beads. i'm no speed demon but i'm not sure where I could've made up any time. maybe on the fit up and tacking it together i could've saved some time bu...

i cut each panel and welded it together. it took a solid day for me to tack it all together. then another day to weld up all the outside edges and grind the welds down. 5 1/4" edges gave me a ball that was 25" tall.

how's it coming with this problem? i had the same thing start happening on my PP table and found that the sprocket had started coming loose on the motor shaft on one of my Y axis motors (long axis for me). I had started playing with acceleration constants for the motors and turned them way up, this ...
