Looks like water? I would wait for Jim Colt to chime in. I have a 85 and never have had that kind of a blowout.

Re: Height issues

Sawdust, If you are using Mach and SheetCam and you don't have an floating head or ohmic touchoff, then you need to make sure you set the Z axis offset it both Mach and Sheetcam to 0.0, Or some say you must use 0.001 or it defaults to .04. You should see this in the G-code.

Re: Drum sander question

I have the 22/44 version of the one in your picture. I have also had a dual drum Grizzly drum sanders. Pages from PM6585SM.pdf - Adobe Acrobat Pro.pdf
It looks like there is a 20:1 on the main board and then the dip switch divider board takes it down from there.
You might measure the voltage before the divider board. Sound like you are calling Hypertherm.

Re: Low Voltage on Machine Interface

where are you testing the voltage? Do you have the CPC connector? You might look at the divider board and see if anything looks burnt.

With the motors in locked status, (powered but not moving) Grab the axis and try and move them. They should have zero movement. If they do find the source of the play.

As Dennis said there are some great tips in the tip section. Also make sure in SheetCam you have the box for reverse cut checked.
Then read up on cutting holes.

Re: flang lay out help

Flange.jpg
Draw what you want on a piece of paper and take a photo. You don't say what size hole, you don't say where you want the 4ea 3/8" holes.
Maybe Pcam has some premade flanges, I don't know. But you would need the Center lines of the 4 holes and the diameter of the center hole.

Quickest way to ruin a new set of consumables is to test fire a 45amp consumable, with the PM set at 85. Don't ask me how I know that.

Re: flang lay out help

That is some pretty rough numbers. Rectangle, rounded corners, where are the 3/8" holes going, etc...
Is it just a base plate for something? My view of a flange has a hole in the center for a pipe?
