Re: A Cheap Alternative to Expensive Rusting Chemicals

Ha! Seems like I am always fighting rust, trying to keep it off of my finished piece until I can get the right finish/sealer on!
Going to try this though, just for the fun of it. I like your idea of placing objects on the steel to create a different pattern!

Re: large self closing hooks

I had not considered doing it this way (been forging long before I had plasma cutter), but I think it would work i...

Re: PRICE FOR BULK LETTERS?

For a quick starting point I do the cost of my steel X 5, and it seems to work out OK. If I calculated right this would be in Shane's ball park of $2.50 each with out any cleaning or finish.

Re: large self closing hooks

Just chiming in with my thoughts on this. I haul a lot of logs (dragging them through brush, rocks, stump holes, etc...) My suggestion to you is to buy a set, and do not try to cut them out of regular steel. Most manufacturers of these choose cast or hardened hooks for a reason. Unless you are plan...

Re: Hi all.. New to forum and plasma cutting

Since I have no digital height control should I program the cut paths so all the pierce points are done from the ...
