Does that work in 3.11 as well? I always just save the files in default format.

Re: Frog and turtle crossing.

Cut out 4 of each yesterday. They cut good for me. I welded some rod to each one so they can be stuck in the ground. I used the boarder from another sign I downloaded and it does appear rough. The edges do come out smooth when cut but I still may go back and fix this some time as it is easy enough t...

I have not cut these yet. Drew them up last night for a customer order. Figured I would share since I get so much from this forum!

Re: Anyone have a 79 Camaro/Z28 to share/buy?

Thank you very much for the share! I was hoping for more of the side shot. I ended up just reworking most of the rough dxf I was able to get out of the pic. Took me to long and ended up with a mediocre cut file. It got the car done ok, but the file needs work yet. http://i.imgur.com/gloA7vM.jpg 79 Z...

79 Camaro/Z28

Looking for a 79 Z28 or just camaro. Just a smooth silhouette that I can work on and convert. I was able to find this drawing (the side shot) but the lines always come out to rough when I try to convert it to just a silhouette. I was unable to find any 79 camaro already converted to download or buy....

Re: Homemade Roller Bender

I machine a flat on the shaft so the set screw has a flat ( more surface area) to grab onto... If it does distort at all, the die won't get stuck on the shaft where the screw "bit" into the shaft. Got the idea from end mill holders... The HF shafts already have flats on them where the set...

Re: Homemade Roller Bender

Thats kind of what I did. I drilled out the small set screw holes HF has in the dies, tapped them, and inserted the next size bigger bolts with tips like shown and also of a grade 10. The main reason the stock screws constantly need tightening is because the ends keep getting sheared off when you tu...

Re: Homemade Roller Bender

Apparently lots of guys are getting those dies, putting them in the lathe and shaping them to just about any size/shape they want with excellent results ....man I wish I had a lathe  So I was driving by HF the other day and stopped in to get a set of these dies. I opened them up to take 1"...

Hope you can see in this pic. At the top right in "Time Delays" the box that says "Wait for cutting signal before moving".

Re: Hypertherm 65 w/ finecut

I had that problem just the other week as well! Turned out for me, since I live in WI, -12f freezes any condensation in the lines and plugged the first water separator. But then apon inspection all looks good and clean. After I turned the ready heater on facing the general direction of the plasma cu...

I didn't even notice it was a pcm file. I thought plasmacam saved in dxf format.

Glad to hear it works though for those that can use the pcm file. I will check the crossovers, thanks for pointing them out. :)

Re: Wall art gauge

I as well almost always use 16G for art stuff. I use other 'close' gauges just to use up left over material. The thinner material warps easy and imo is more of a pain to work with. Thicker material like mentioned doesn't seem to show smaller detail as well as 16g but is nice for things that need som...
