Re: who has a website

There are several open box e-commerce platforms out there now days. I prefer MIVA, cost is a little higher than some but they are very open module orientated so you have more personal control over your layouts, can edit anything and everything yourself (no forced cookie cutter formats) and are fully...

Or block design, may be closer to what you are wanting. On both of these, I would roll them around the pipe for a smooth fit. I would also cut them out of stainless and give them a high quality mirror finish. :)

How about a button, may need to cut with a laser. Didn't bother with drop outs because I assume it will be quite small anyways.

Re: Hitch covers

When you insert the piece into the hitch receiver, the part that goes into the receiver is welded on a diagonal instead of being horizontal or vertical. That is the reason for the slot in the end instead of a single hole. That way it doesn't flop around. By putting it on a diagonal, you only need on...

Probably could help you but might need a little more info. Is that in feet or inches or centimeters etc... Also, what is the text? Is it above the line, below the line or through the middle of the line? Also, what font and how big is the font? If you want help doing it yourself, what program are you...

Re: Plasmaspider.com web site / bugs???

You probably have an app or program installed like AdBlocker. These programs block out banner ads so you don't see them. The blank space is the allocated space for the ads that you don't see. Check your browser settings and see if you have an adblocker program, if so, turn it off and see if that fix...

Re: Drill/tap steel after cutting

Get some rapid-tap and use it a lot. As jim said, a good quality cobalt bit, not the plated crap. Learn to re-sharpen the bit because it will chip if it hits a bad spot. Also, drill at a slow speed and let the bit cut the metal out - high speed will burn the bit up in less than 1/16". Once it s...

In Corel, just type out your text, then right click on it and select "Convert To Curves". and it will then be ready to edit as needed. If you want to edit just one letter (say connect the center of an "o") then right click again, select "Break Curve Apart" and each lett...

Re: 45xp tool settings

Book settings are usually gold. Because every table/motor/interface will vary ever so slightly and 100ipm may actually be 110ipm or 85ipm in real life, you may find a small adjustment may yield a slightly better result....but usually the engineers who test these things relentlessly at the factory on...

Re: Attechin 2 metal pieces with space between them for effect

Weld some threaded studs onto the back of the first piece, then screw a nut onto it, then through the back piece. For larger spacing add two nuts between and separate as wanted. Then bolt the whole thing together and grind off the rest of the threads on the back. Be sure to use some loctite on the t...
