Thanks for the share there are lots of files to pick from.
How did you set the Google drive up for open downloads, I have been using it as a direct link for separate people only.

Re: Why has nobody made TM rails?

If you build your own these are things you take into consideration. With info like from BTA Plasma above and other research you can add things you want and leave out problems you learn about. ;)

Re: 3D puzzle DXF files

You could get a Google Drive page and upload them there, Then for those who want them they would need to email you so you can use the share function on the Google Drive..It sends a link to their email so they can download them from the Google drive directly. You get 15 GB free to share files.

Re: DXF TO G CODE For Mach 3

Terry realize that you will also need to know what post processor to use for your table. SheetCam has some basic Post processors for Mach 3 that may get you working. Other things come into play if you have THC or a ohmic sensor. There are many different setup use by people here, if you ask questions...

Re: Dan's 5x10 PPLLC & CandCNC Build

I have mine wired for the feather touch to Z home and floating head switch to Z limit. It is rare for the feather touch to not sense the metal but when it does the floating head switch stops to torch from crashing. just raise up the torch and clean the surface and back up to the last M5 set the next...

Search Google and find a site to download Winrar (free) and install it on your system. This is a zip and unzip program that will unzip rar files too.
You just download the file from here and run winrar to find the DXF file. It is handy to use Winrar to zip files to post here too.

Re: DXF not showing any Paths?

There is a simple thing you may try when you have your object on the screen click on the Select tool and place a box around your object. Move the cursor near the object and hold down the left mouse button and move the mouse to the lower right you will see a box appear around the object. When you rel...

Re: Files on here- help!

First so you know some files posted here will not open in Inkscape, (some differences with the DXF format). To work around this I have downloaded QCAD (free), for files that don't open the Inkscape I open them in QCAD and then save then from there using a different name (just add an A to the name). ...

One of the members posted a jig he used to hold small pieces for cutting, very helpful if you slates are spaced farther apart then the small pieces sizes. With some of the 3D type wall hangings I have made there were many small parts that could be cut from drops. Some of the 1/4" cut jobs I hav...

Re: Proma Compact THC

It sounds like you don't have the correct pins for the up/down in Mach, I assume the up/down lights come on the Proma? I would say a Plasma table of your own will be a big plus for you, put a little more jingle in your pocket. Go back here and you will find many files that will expand your business....

Re: Proma Compact THC

There are 3 signals from the Proma (arc OK, up, and down) these should be wired to your BOB using the input pins in Mach 3. Do not connect the power supply negative and the signal ground. The signal ground goes to the BOB board only and it is not a ground but a signal return. On the Proma if you run...

Re: How to Print metric dxf files

Both can be changed to metric. Mach has a inch or MM box in the lower right of the Setting page.
Run the setup wizard in SheetCam and change the info for size setup and when you import a drawing you can select Metric under scaling.

Re: Can i get a good cut for art type stuff with std consumables

The main difference between the fine and standard is the Kerf width changing it in SheetCam does nothing. I think it is there just so you know when setting up a cut operation. In the Hypertherm manual if shows different Kerf width but they change with thickness of metal maybe due to the change in sp...
