Re: Looking for suggestions on tracing tablets

There are videos showing how to do manual trace in Inkscape, You do a basic trace around an object and then go back and refine it with the node tools. Don't limit you search to DXF traces I have found great videos in other fields like "scrap booking" or "scroll saw" or "viny...

Re: Drain plug broke off in air compessor.

You may need to use what is called "easy out" you can get them at hardware or auto parts stores. The have reverse twist so you stick them in the part and turn with a wrench to remove. If you have to heat the plug use candle wax when it hot and it works better then liquid wrench.

Re: Small Circles Not Round

Loctite is not the only answer I always make a flat place on any shaft for the setscrew to land. The motor shafts are hard and setscrews seem to slip more often, a flat give you an extra advantage.

Check out this section for CorelDraw info http://www.plasmaspider.com/viewforum.php?f=49 I use Inkscape and it has a trace function doing silhouettes is very easy and for photos you would do a manual trace. Re: Tips for spotting looped lines/artifacts in drawings?

I don't know if this is the problem you found but this is an area where it was to small for the path to go. you can see that the rapids show where the torch would go but it is not a starting point.

Re: Help with union

I think if you select the base plate and one of the chickens at a time will work. Or Select a chicken and then another to union, the add another until you have all the chickens as a group then try a union of the group and the base plate. I don't think you can union over 2 separate things at one time.

Try using a large head plastic hammer not a metal one, that give a larger contact area and does not produce dents that a metal hammer does..

Re: 2' X 3' Welding Tables

I bought a 2' X 4' table top from Certiflat (laser cut) then built a base for it so I could fold down the top for storage. I made some clamps from another post here and a different type too. Here are some pictures of them. The last on has a 1" square tube about 12" tall and the arm can sli...

The delay and ground rod only help it you are getting random noise and that will give you a reset condition and things should stop. Do you power bot...
