Re: DYNATORCH OWNERS . . .

Customer service and a great product.
This is my second table from them.
I had some troubles with my table, lightning strike took out a bunch of stuff. When in the trouble shooting phase Leon called me on a Sunday to try and help me out.

EDIT tab:
Select all
Edit Tab:
Uncleave selected poly lines
then optimize.

This will reduce the number of points.

Show all points first if you want to compare how many you reduced.
Hope this helps.

Re: 5'x10' or 6'x12'?

Most of the time I dont need that big of a table. Most of the time I can get by with the 5'x10' table. I have one job that I do that if I use a 6' wide sheet it minimizes the waste that I have. I was still on the fence with jumping up in size but I can still get the artsy performance with this size ...

Re: 5'x10' or 6'x12'?

Well it's official..
I've got a 6'x12' xls on order
tube cutter
engraver
new powermax 85 to top it all off.

I also ordered a spare set of the torch mounts to put a drill on to jewel(engine turn) sheets of aluminum or stainless.
Now for the fun part, paying for it all..

5'x10' or 6'x12'?

Any one using a 6'x12' dynatorch?
Curious as to the cut quality of the larger machines.
I'm very seriously thinking of selling my 1250 powered single side drive 5'x10' machine to a 6'x12'.
Thinking of a 6'x12' with a scribe and new powermax 85 and possibly the pipe cutter.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Re: Catastrophic electrode and nozzle failure

Poor wording on my part.
It doesn't misfire. The torch drops touches the plate pauses and retracts. Error on screen that torch didn't fire and asking me to retry.

Re: Catastrophic electrode and nozzle failure

I'll give them a try next time around. I do have a problem with the duramax torch though. This problem is intermittent,I might get 100 pierces till it happens or it might give me 5 misfires in a row.(the torch doesn't even try to fire so misfire might be misleading) The machine will send signal to p...

I have an older version of arbor image cutting shop v 2.0 and wecim 20. The problem I'm having is every once in a while I cant open a file, program opens but no image. I can open and see image in autocad and I've even re saved as 2000 autocad but still cant open in either wecim or cutting shop. The ...

Scribe?

Any one using the air scribe from dynatorch? Could you post up some pics of work you've done? I'm in the market for a new table and I've narrowed it to two. Already familiar with the dynatorch but also looking at the ldr. Looking at a 5x10 or a 6x12 with scribe and possibly a pipe cutter. Thanks Chris

Save your money and get what you want, dont sell yourself short on the size for a few dollars. As far as dynatorch's customer service I cant imagine a better company to work with. local laser company, 3/8" steel 75 bucks per plate 13 x 65 with 425 holes per piece to cut.
this is a mennonite company.
hard to compete with them on price and quality. only way to beat them is turn around. they are backlogged for 2 weeks.
local for me is central pa.

Re: 1250 duramax torch question

Sorry for the delay, been very busy with the real job. I've only had a chance to cut 3/8" plate so far. The job I do requires 427 pierces in a 5' x 14" piece of plate. First set of consumables I got 850+ pierces.(guessing that's inline) The one weird thing was the electrode was shot ...
