Look into a Bulltear.com setup. For probably $2K more than Burntables sells their 4x4 for, you can build a 4x8 Bulltear and have MUCH higher quality parts. I am in the process of putting together my Bulltear table I just got, the quality difference is not even comparable between the two.

I have a 4x4 Burntables, I have not been pleased with it. From the table being out of square, the grating not being the same height (some as much as 5/8" higher than others), the Z-axis drive setup is a joke, loose screws throughout on the gantry (they didn't use loctite), I could go on and on....

If you continue looking for budget tables, I will warn you, the Burntables brand sounds/looks decent, but STAY AWAY.

I own a Burntable, I would not buy another... I have had MANY issues, some minor, some major. I dont think lead in's are the problem. More that it just cuts very slow/jumpy, and that it cuts the letters in 'sections', sometimes sections of each letter multiple times.

Not sure what I am doing wrong, I do know I need to break down and buy a better program to use for text. I am currently running HyCad.
